Meet our Instructors:
Tope Abulude
Tope Abulude is the owner of Balloon Inspirations and is an accomplished international instructor who shares his wide range of decor skills around the world. Tope started designing events as a hobby while studying for a Masters degree in Architecture. He has since traded designing buildings for event decor and now creates bespoke designs for individual and corporate clients from his Essex based studio.
Tope’s background knowledge in design is apparent in all of his work and with his painstaking attention to detail has earned him numerous industry awards and has been featured in several industry magazines, Balloon Images and Balloon Magic to name a few. His Circus themed WBC final night decor in Dallas was one to be remembered. Tope has 25+ years of experience and continues to hone his craft as he teaches Balloon Design at home and abroad.
Sean Rogers
Sean Rogers, owner and designer of Inspired Balloons in Lake Tahoe, Ca, has been creating next level balloon experiences since 2011. He specializes in balloon deco-twisting, sustainable(easy)framing/rigging techniques and custom(sellable)balloon creations for any event.
His sculptures have been featured on CBS ” The Talk.” He was an instructor for Q-Tour, Ballooniversity, World Balloon Convention 2018 and numerous other workshops. Sean was co-captain of Team USA at WBC2016, placed first in the large sculpture competition & delegate’s choice at Float 2019, achieved a third place finish at Twist & Shout and two back to back second place finishes in Color Quest. Sean has been featured in Balloon Magic magazine numerous times and has a passion for teaching, usable, sellable designs and techniques that transform parties into one of a kind experiences!
Adrian Winfrey
Adrian Winfrey is the owner of Captivating Balloons in Memphis, TN. She has been in the balloon industry since 2015, starting in her home and moving to her own studio in 2018. She intially learned balloon basics from Youtube, but continued to attend in- person conferences and classes offered by industry professionals. She has committed to receive training every year she’s in business.
She teaches locally with my Balloon Tycoon Workshop. She was a Team Lead with the Qualatex Big Build. She’s won awards in Event Decor FLOATee Design Competition for foil decor and milestone celebrations. Adrian is excited about the industry and is looking forward to what’s next for her.
